Job Description: We are seeking motivated and passionate SLPs to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services in the school setting. As a therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, while collaborating with clients and their families to develop personalized therapy plans.

​

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide direct therapy services to clients with various speech and language challenges.

  • Utilize evidence-based techniques and strategies to improve speech, language, and communication skills.

  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

  • Educate and guide clients and their families on strategies to enhance communication outside of therapy sessions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as necessary, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey or New York.

  • Speech Language Specialist License

  • ASHA Certification

  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and their families.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to travel to clients' homes.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional boundaries.
